Poor Momma wasn’t dealt the best cards in life. She was recently surrendered because she was a farm dog, and since her owner regularly had people coming to the farm with their dogs that Momma didn’t like, she was surrendered to us. On top of that, Momma was used to running free and doesn’t have much training under her belt. We are working with her though! Momma is a sweetheart once she warms up to you. She is a hefty girl who needs to lose some (okay, a lot) of weight. She’s a loving and loyal girl who would do great in a relaxed home environment, perhaps with a nice big yard for her. She’s shown no aggression with the other dogs at the shelter, so she may do well with a male dog in the home but she is picky about her dog friends pet previous owner. She’s not a social butterfly, but who is? Momma is only 4yrs old so she has so many years ahead of her. She’d like nothing more than to find a forever home!
